The summer Climb+ CPD is aimed at staff who provide primarily single pitch climbing for pupils, with only occasional forays into scrambling or multi pitch. It is based in the Peak District near Hathersage, with ensuite rooms at the Fox House Inn.
Syllabus:
Crag selection, use of the guidebook, rigging, top vs bottom roping, belay methods, common problems and solutions, releasable abseil, personal protective equipment, all forms of risk assessment, emergency procedure, managing bouldering as a stand alone activity.

Arrive Monday morning by 10.00am. Course finishes by 4.00pm Tuesday to allow for travel home. Additional hotel nights either side of the course can be arranged.
