Expedition+ CPD

The Expedition+ CPD is aimed at staff who supervise mountain walking in summer conditions. It is based in the Peak District near Hathersage, with ensuite rooms at the Fox House Inn.
Syllabus:
Group leadership, remote supervision, weather forecasts and risk assessment, teaching navigation, water hazards, security on steep ground (covering confidence roping, ascent or descent of a rock step), expedition skills, emergency procedure.

Arrive Monday morning by 10.00am.
Course finishes by 4.00pm Tuesday to allow for travel home. Additional hotel nights either side of the course can be arranged subject to availability.
